COORDINATOR (Unpaid Volunteer Position)

Program to the next level. The ideal candidate would be
someone who is comfortable meeting new people and matching
the right person with the right job here at the Museum.
This volunteer position will be responsible for recruiting,
interviewing, and “hiring” new volunteers.

MUSEUM SALES ASSOCIATE (Flexible P/T)
Strong cashier, reception experience and computer skills a must. Flexible 7 -15 hours per week working Saturday and/or Sunday. Additional evenings & days possible. $9.25 per hour.

FACILITIES ASSOCIATE (
Full Time)
Schenectady Museum and Suits-Bueche Planetarium is seeking a motivated, reliable, and experienced Facilities Assistant. Primary responsibilities include: Maintenance of Building and Grounds, Security System and Exhibit Installation & Maintenance. Interested candidates should be proficient in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, general assembly, and mechanical tasks such as troubleshooting malfunctioning systems. Candidate must be able to maintain and operate facility/maintenance equipment, and a variety of building and fabrication hand tools. Some nights and weekends required.
